Robotic arms for paralyzed folks

Research has found that implanting a chip to the motor cortex of the brain allows free movement to prosthetic arms. Practical use for folks who are paralyzed, and veterans who lost limbs during wars, are able to use their limbs one more time by robotics.

Dr. Hochberg describes: "I think that this is a nice and important step in the field that's evolving as we try for people who are unable to move their arms or their legs to develop a technology that would restore either communication or mobility."

Vocaloid 3: Future Music

It's already a year since Vocaloid 3 passed October 21st and it gave great commercial success and access to producers or musicians whom are new to the software.

To explain about this, Vocaloid is actually a virtual singer program, or a singing voice synthesizer that a person can use to sing main or background vocal parts. These "Singers" come inside a box and can be used to the types of songs you want to make, or just how they sound, and can be assorted to making duets or chorus. Currently right now to the market, the languages that are available to the programs are English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean; with companies who make specific vocaloids to their own native language.

Vocaloid 3 also had new design preferences other than the last two; Now the program can be installed, and voice banks come separately. Also better audio quality, with realistic sounds to give it a more human approach on the easy interface; though the choice on how they sound depends on the user. It saves a ton of money for folks who wanted to buy just a version instead of wasting it for a whole pack.

So to anyone who wants to buy V3, It costs about 118 US dollars, and the voice bank prices depend on a certain companies. If you're an inspired musician and want to try something new, then have a head start.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs. iPhone 5

Apple advertises the iPhone 5 as tall, since it has the same width as the iPhone 4, but it's longer. The Galaxy Note II is more than an inch longer than the iPhone 5, is wider by 7/8 of an inch, and has a 5.55 inch screen, over an inch bigger than the iPhone 5. The Note II is a bit thicker, and its size can make it unwieldy for smaller hands, particularly when used as a phone.

At 32 GB, the internal storage of the Note II is twice that of the iPhone 5, and the Note II can handle an SD card for up to another 64 GB of memory.

The Note II has a bigger battery so you get a longer battery life, the Note II has a mind-numbing 35 hours of talk time, compared to the iPhone 5's 8 hours. You can talk on the phone with the Note II for a straight day and a half before recharging.

The Note II is incredibly fast, with a quad-core processor to the iPhone 5's dual-core.

Most reviews say the Note II is one of the best phones if not the best. The biggest cons for the Note II is the size although it is nice for watching movies and web browsing, the people who are actually looking for a phone to call off say it is too big.

The iPhone 5 doesn't have as good reviews, but keep in mind the people have high expectations for Apple.
There have been some side affects to the Note II, like the buttons are flimsy as well as the cover.

It mainly depends on what kind of device your looking for, for movies, video, streaming, browsing the Note II is for you. But if your looking for something more simple and for actual phone use  go for the iPhone.

super-mario-wii-u

Mario has landed in a new part of the Mushroom Kingdom, and needs to go back to the castle and save Princess Peach, again. This time in High Definition

On his journey to save the princess he runs into new enemies and old foes, has new powers to help in his journey. Gamers say it's a bit similar to Super Mario World, but with a few twists.

The Wii U’s big new thing is the touch-screen GamePad controller, which is used by the "Master". The "Master" can use the touch screen to drop platforms to save friends from falling from cliffs, stop moving obstacles in their tracks, retrieve characters from bubbles, unlock 1ups and even kill certain enemies.

So far the grade for the 'New Super Mario Bros. Wii U' is a B.

It's also the day that you can shop without being bombarded in stores for the things you're interested of, with special deals to afford from large retail sites.

Here's some tips for online shopping for the holidays:
  • Make sure the dealer of the site or item(s) can be trusted! Sites such as Ebay maybe give you cop-outs on look a like items if the seller isn't truthful, so be careful about that.
  • Online shopping can take a while, so plan to get your things early. The earlier the better and the time waiting will be sooner as you think.
  • Check the pricing! The deal may be over if you never looked back to it for a while; get in a habit to double check everything.
  • Make sure that your passwords and security software is up to date. Making new passwords for different sites will give you a good amount of safety during shopping. Anti-virus software such as Norton or Mac-fee will help you tackle anything that comes in the way during the holidays.
