New "Low Budget" iPhone?

Rumors are saying a new "higher-end iPhone" could be released in mid 2013, mostly likely a iPhone 5s. Not a just a new iPhone a new iPhone but also a "low-budget iPhone".

Apple is working on a more affordable version of the iPhone that would sell for as little as $500 and could be released as early as the middle of this year, according to reports.

The cheaper smartphone will most likely look like the  iPhone 5, but be made of less expensive materials such as polycarbonate plastic, reports The Wall Street Journal. Other rumors say it will be a 'iPhone Mini' and have a 4in display.

Companies like Samsung have knocked Apple off the top with their new smartphones that are cheaper than the iPhone; this being the reason why Apple will make a cheaper iPhone.

The comments that people have on the new "low-budget iPhone" are along the lines of, yes this being a good thing and no it's not. People are afraid that it could end up like the iPad Mini. Some were not impressed with the screen quality, yes it was cheaper but because it is smaller. Other commented that this is not the way Apple should producing bad quality gadgets.

Year-end Wii U sales steady

Nintendo Co Ltd 's year-end sales of its Wii U games console were steady, though not as strong as when its Wii predecessor was first launched, the Japanese game maker's top executive told Reuters on Monday

Iwata gave no details on sales or forecasts, but said Nintendo needed to focus on developing attractive software for its 3DS handheld device to draw new users, and increase Wii U sales as it battles competition from popular mobile devices. The Wii U carries video content from Netflix Inc and Hulu, and has a dedicated social gaming network called Miiverse, which allows users to interact and share games tips.

Nintendo said in October it aimed to sell 5.5 million Wii U devices by end-March. Wii U, the successor to the blockbuster Wii machine, went on sale in the United States on November 18. The company later said it sold more than 400,000 of the video game consoles in the first week.
Nintendo's Osaka-listed shares earlier ended down nearly 2.1 percent on Monday at 8,980 yen, and have fallen 15 percent since the Wii U was launched.

Vocaloid 3: Future Music

It's already a year since Vocaloid 3 passed October 21st and it gave great commercial success and access to producers or musicians whom are new to the software.

To explain about this, Vocaloid is actually a virtual singer program, or a singing voice synthesizer that a person can use to sing main or background vocal parts. These "Singers" come inside a box and can be used to the types of songs you want to make, or just how they sound, and can be assorted to making duets or chorus. Currently right now to the market, the languages that are available to the programs are English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean; with companies who make specific vocaloids to their own native language.

Vocaloid 3 also had new design preferences other than the last two; Now the program can be installed, and voice banks come separately. Also better audio quality, with realistic sounds to give it a more human approach on the easy interface; though the choice on how they sound depends on the user. It saves a ton of money for folks who wanted to buy just a version instead of wasting it for a whole pack.

So to anyone who wants to buy V3, It costs about 118 US dollars, and the voice bank prices depend on a certain companies. If you're an inspired musician and want to try something new, then have a head start.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs. iPhone 5

Apple advertises the iPhone 5 as tall, since it has the same width as the iPhone 4, but it's longer. The Galaxy Note II is more than an inch longer than the iPhone 5, is wider by 7/8 of an inch, and has a 5.55 inch screen, over an inch bigger than the iPhone 5. The Note II is a bit thicker, and its size can make it unwieldy for smaller hands, particularly when used as a phone.

At 32 GB, the internal storage of the Note II is twice that of the iPhone 5, and the Note II can handle an SD card for up to another 64 GB of memory.

The Note II has a bigger battery so you get a longer battery life, the Note II has a mind-numbing 35 hours of talk time, compared to the iPhone 5's 8 hours. You can talk on the phone with the Note II for a straight day and a half before recharging.

The Note II is incredibly fast, with a quad-core processor to the iPhone 5's dual-core.

Most reviews say the Note II is one of the best phones if not the best. The biggest cons for the Note II is the size although it is nice for watching movies and web browsing, the people who are actually looking for a phone to call off say it is too big.

The iPhone 5 doesn't have as good reviews, but keep in mind the people have high expectations for Apple.
There have been some side affects to the Note II, like the buttons are flimsy as well as the cover.

It mainly depends on what kind of device your looking for, for movies, video, streaming, browsing the Note II is for you. But if your looking for something more simple and for actual phone use  go for the iPhone.

Wii U Game Review: New Super Mario Bros. U

super-mario-wii-u

Mario has landed in a new part of the Mushroom Kingdom, and needs to go back to the castle and save Princess Peach, again. This time in High Definition

On his journey to save the princess he runs into new enemies and old foes, has new powers to help in his journey. Gamers say it's a bit similar to Super Mario World, but with a few twists.

The Wii U’s big new thing is the touch-screen GamePad controller, which is used by the "Master". The "Master" can use the touch screen to drop platforms to save friends from falling from cliffs, stop moving obstacles in their tracks, retrieve characters from bubbles, unlock 1ups and even kill certain enemies.

So far the grade for the 'New Super Mario Bros. Wii U' is a B.
