Simple steps on how to create a strong password.
- Don't use big dictionary words, you may think no one would guess them but they're the easiest to crack.
- Try to use different passwords for each account you have.
- The longer the better, try to use a phrase like a quote or song lyric.
- When in doubt just jam the keyboard and type a random one then save it on a piece of paper at home not on your computer, hackers can have access to that.
- Store your passwords securely if not memorized.
- When you have to fill out a security questions try not to put the actual answer, hackers can get your information from the internet.
- A password manager is an option but not as recommended.
- You can use different browsers, use one browser for your actual important uses, such as banking or shopping online. For regular internet uses such as : social networks, games, etc ; use a different browser in case the one can catch a virus from the other.
